University Shares Sports Facilities with the Local Community, Including Schools and the General Public
Good Health and Well Being
Our university swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, and gymnasium are available to local schools and to the general public.
An exhibition game between the L-NU Dukes and the Barangay San Leon Balungao at the Dr. Salvador T. Duque III Fieldhouse was a powerful example of how sports can unite communities, promote healthy competition, and maximize the use of shared resources. It had a multi-dimensional impact by fostering community pride, enhancing sports participation, optimizing local sports infrastructure, and encouraging youth engagement. This event also highlighted the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and local governments in creating a vibrant sports culture that benefits both individuals and the wider community.
