Strengthening Female Leadership
Lyceum-Northwestern University (LNU) promotes women’s empowerment through its mentoring and leadership programs, such as the Leadership Summit 2024, organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services and the University Student Government. The summit engaged a large number of female student leaders, well above 10% of the female student population, in workshops, mentoring circles, and leadership development activities. Female participants were guided by administrators, alumnae, and mentors who shared insights on ethical and inclusive leadership. Through continuous peer mentoring and follow-up programs, LNU ensures women’s active participation and growth in leadership, aligning with the University’s Gender and Development framework and Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality.
