Provision of Sustainable, Nutritious, and Affordable Food Choices on Campus

Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) strengthens food security among its students and faculty by providing sustainable, nutritious, and budget-friendly meal options on campus. The university canteen offers a wide variety of meals featuring meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits, ensuring that all members of the L-NU community have access to balanced and healthful food choices every day.

To further support those with limited financial resources, the canteen also provides budget meals intentionally priced to remain affordable for students and faculty. These meals help reduce daily food expenses while still meeting nutritional needs. In addition, nutritious snacks are offered throughout the day, giving the community convenient and accessible options at low cost.

By ensuring access to diverse, nutritious, and affordable meals, L-NU contributes directly to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by alleviating food insecurity, reducing financial strain, and promoting equitable access to sustainable food choices on campus.
