Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive education by participating in the Seminar-Workshop on How to Handle Learners with Special Needs on July 19, 2025, at the First United Methodist Church, Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
Led by the Center for Curriculum Innovation and Professional Development (CCIPD) under the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA), 30 L-NU faculty and staff members, representing both teaching and non-teaching roles, actively engaged in enhancing practical skills to support learners with special needs.
The event, aligned with L-NU’s dedication to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 10, focused on promoting inclusivity, international standards compliance, and empowering educators to deliver quality education.
Dr. Rodney Odesson P. Raguindin, OIC-OVPAA, and Ms. Juanita Gramata, Secretary of OVPAA, led discussions in the open forum, while Mr. Joel Cerezo, Ms. Ronna Lissa Fernandez, and Mr. Alfie Abrigo shared valuable insights as presenters during the workshop, reinforcing L-NU’s mission of diversity, equity, and social responsibility in education.
