Quality Education

August 1, 2023— Dr. Rodney Raguindin, Officer-in-Charge for Academic Affairs and Head of the Center for Curriculum Innovation and Professional Development (CCIPD), Dr. Priscilla Castro, Officer-in-Charge for the Institute of Graduate and Professional Studies (IGPS), Mr. Mar Santiago, Director for Human Resource Development (HRD), and Ms. Jenny Bautista, HRD personnel, convened to develop a comprehensive faculty matrix for IGPS faculty members.

The meeting aimed to enhance faculty structure and optimize resource allocation within the IGPS. The faculty matrix will provide a detailed overview of faculty qualifications, expertise, and research engagements, ensuring that educators are matched with appropriate courses and programs.

This initiative underscores L-NU’s commitment to academic excellence and faculty development. The matrix will improve academic quality by aligning faculty strengths with program needs, enhance strategic planning for future hiring and resource allocation, and support faculty growth through targeted professional development opportunities.
