On July 25, 2024, Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) made a significant impact at the “SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) in Action” program hosted by Huachiew Chalermprakiet University in Thailand. Dr. Cynthia Lopez, Vice President for Research Innovation and Management at L-NU, led the university’s delegation, which included key figures from various departments.
Dr. Lopez presented L-NU’s SDG Initiatives, with a special emphasis on SDG 17, showcasing the university’s dedication to fostering partnerships and collaborative efforts. The delegation also included Dr. Rodney Odesson Raguindin, Head of the Center for Curriculum Innovation and Professional Development (CCIPD) and Officer-in-Charge for Academic Affairs; Dr. Ellen Manzano, Dean of the College of Medicine together with Dr. Dominador Manzano; Dr. Nora Benavides, Head of the Natural Sciences Department; and Mr. Eroll Bravante, Head of the Alumni Office
Dr. Raguindin’s participation underscores the CCIPD’s pivotal role in aligning L-NU’s curriculum with global sustainability goals and advancing educational innovation on an international stage.
The event concluded with a Welcome Dinner and Cultural Exchange Program, offering valuable opportunities for networking and cultural engagement, further strengthening L-NU’s international collaborations and commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
