L-NU as a Neutral and Safe Platform for Dialogue Among Political Stakeholders

Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) provides a neutral, respectful, and safe platform where diverse political stakeholders, legal experts, policymakers, and members of the public can openly discuss national issues and shared challenges.

In 2024, the L-NU College of Law exemplified this commitment by hosting an online public lecture with Former Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio T. Carpio during Law Week 2024. The seminar, titled “Updates on the West Philippine Sea Issue,” offered an impartial and evidence-based discussion on one of the most sensitive political and geopolitical matters in the Philippines. The event was open to students, legal practitioners, community members, and political stakeholders, creating an inclusive space for informed dialogue.

Through initiatives like this, L-NU ensures that individuals from different political backgrounds can engage in constructive, safe, and nonpartisan conversations, promoting civic education, democratic participation, and deeper understanding of national issues.
