Ensuring Protection and Due Process Through LNU’s Grievance Policy
Lyceum-Northwestern University (LNU) upholds a grievance policy under the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) that ensures protection for individuals reporting cases of discrimination, harassment, or misconduct. The policy guarantees due process, confidentiality, and non-retaliation throughout the grievance procedure. Complaints are formally investigated by the Board of Discipline, which upholds the rights of both complainant and respondent, ensuring fairness and impartiality. LNU strictly prohibits any form of disadvantage, intimidation, or retaliation against those who report violations. The University also adheres to national laws such as the Magna Carta of Women (RA 9710), the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313), and the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act (RA 7877), reinforcing its commitment to protect the welfare, dignity, and rights of all members of the academic community.
