L-NU Strengthens International Collaboration for SDG Data and Global Benchmarking
Partnership for the Goals
Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) continues to play an active role in international efforts to support the measurement, monitoring, and advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of this global engagement, Dr. Rodney Odesson P. Raguindin, Vice President for Academic Affairs, was invited by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia to serve as an Academic Peer for the QS Global Academic Survey—a critical global instrument used in assessing university performance, research impact, academic reputation, and contributions to sustainable development.
This participation highlights L-NU’s growing influence in international academic circles and its involvement in gathering and evaluating data that help shape evidence-based policies, strategic planning, and sustainable development roadmaps for higher education. Through engagements such as the QS Global Academic Survey, L-NU directly contributes to the global data ecosystem that informs how institutions align with the SDGs, particularly in the areas of quality education, research excellence, global partnerships, and institutional sustainability. This reflects the University’s commitment not only to local implementation but also to global evaluation and accountability mechanisms.
By actively collaborating with international institutions like ITS and global ranking bodies such as QS, L-NU reinforces its dedication to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, strengthening cross-border academic networks that promote transparency, knowledge exchange, and shared responsibility in achieving the SDGs. These collaborative efforts further affirm L-NU’s role as a globally engaged institution that contributes to shaping a more inclusive, data-informed, and sustainable future for higher education.
