Gender-Disaggregated Graduation Monitoring Supporting SDG 5 at Lyceum-Northwestern University

Gender Equality

Lyceum-Northwestern University integrates gender-disaggregated graduation monitoring into its commitment to SDG 5 on Gender Equality. Through the AIMS Student Information System, L-NU recorded 2,597 graduates in the latest cycle, consisting of 1,712 females (66%) and 885 males (34%). This monitoring enables the University to observe gender trends and identify any disparities in completion rates. While L-NU follows an open admission and selective retention policy, which does not include targeted mechanisms to close gender gaps, the institution ensures that all students have equal access to academic support, guidance, and learning resources. By maintaining consistent monitoring and applying merit-based retention standards, L-NU promotes fairness, transparency, and balanced opportunities for both women and men. This approach reinforces the University’s commitment to equitable academic outcomes and supports its alignment with the goals and principles of SDG 5.
