Strengthening Gender-Inclusive Access to Education Through LNU’s SDG-Aligned Policies

Under the umbrella of the “Sustainable Policies of Change,” Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) has institutionalized a robust Equal Opportunity and Gender Inclusivity Policy. This policy actively dismantles socio-economic and gender-based barriers to education, ensuring that admissions, academic success, and professional guidance are accessible to all, particularly marginalized sectors.

This evidence validates L-NU’s compliance with SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) through a tripartite framework implemented by the Gender and Development (GAD) Office in coordination with the AIMS (Academic Information Management System). To combat occupational segregation, L-NU utilizes data-driven strategies to promote gender balance in academic programs.
