Recognition of an Independent Students’ Union at L-NU
Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) formally recognizes an independent student governing body, the University Central Student Government (UCSG). This independent union represents the collective student voice and operates autonomously in accordance with its constitution and university policies.
The UCSG plays a vital role in university governance by providing student input in policy discussions, decision-making processes, and institutional planning. It also offers a wide range of student support services, including academic assistance initiatives, student welfare programs, and advocacy campaigns promoting student rights and well-being.
In addition, the UCSG organizes social, cultural, and community-building activities that enrich campus life and strengthen student engagement.
Through its recognition and support of the independent student union, L-NU ensures that students have an active, organized, and empowered role in shaping the university environment.
