L-NU’s Community-Based Educational Outreach Programs
Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) actively undertakes educational outreach initiatives beyond its campus through structured, programmed activities carried out in local schools and communities across Pangasinan and Region I. These initiatives are delivered through the university’s colleges, student organizations, and extension units, ensuring consistent and meaningful engagement with various community groups.
L-NU regularly conducts tailored lectures, skills demonstrations, health education sessions, and capacity-building workshops in barangays, partner public schools, and community centers. Many of these activities are voluntarily led by students and faculty, enabling hands-on learning while contributing to community development.
Through these programmed outreach activities, L-NU upholds its commitment to SDG 4 (Quality Education) and strengthens community partnerships by extending university expertise to benefit individuals and groups outside the campus.
