L-NU CCIPD and Academic Affairs Office Meet with Civil Engineering Faculty to Enhance Education Quality

August 5, 2024 – The Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) Center for Curriculum Innovation and Professional Development (CCIPD) and the Office of Academic Affairs recently convened with faculty members from the College of Engineering’s Civil Engineering program to strategize on improving educational quality. Led by Dr. Rodney Odesson Raguindin, Head of CCIPD and Officer-in-Charge for Academic Affairs, the meeting focused on aligning the curriculum, improving the syllabi, enhancing faculty development, and upgrading of laboratory facilities with the latest standards and guidelines.

Key topics included:

1. Curriculum and Syllabi Enhancement: Updating content to meet regulatory and industry standards.

2. Faculty Development: Enhancing competencies through training and professional development.

3. Laboratory Upgrades:
Modernizing facilities for hands-on experience with current technology.

4. Board Examination Performance:

Strategies to improve licensure exam results through review sessions and mentoring.
