Quality Education

Lyceum-Northwestern University’s NSTP 2 students and the College of Engineering organized a Renewable Energy Seminar and Workshop called ENER-HIYAS, aimed at driving innovation and sustainability in alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This initiative addresses several SDGs, with a focus on educating participants about renewable energy sources. The activity directly contributes to the goal of providing affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all by encouraging the adoption of these sustainable energy solutions.

The event also offers networking opportunities and resources for collaborative action, supporting the goal of enhancing implementation strategies and revitalizing global partnerships for sustainable development.

Meanwhile, NSTP 2 students pursuing Marine courses launched the TREE FOR THEE program, a Mangrove Planting Project. This initiative promotes various SDGs, including educational outreach on environmental sustainability and the well-being of coastal communities. By restoring vital mangrove ecosystems, the project makes significant strides toward climate action and the preservation of marine biodiversity. It aims to protect terrestrial ecosystems while strengthening partnerships for sustainable development.
